Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Having owned the Aygo, C1 and now the 108 (all basically the same car), I can definitely say that the 108 is by far the best of them. First of all it just looks better, more grown up than the Aygo and classier than the C1. If you have the collection model (like my one) then you have more extras than a lot of up market cars. It comes with a reversing camera, DAB radio with 7 inch screen with phone mirroring, auto lights, auto climate control, cruise control, traction control button, heated electric mirrors, etc. I also have the top model so I also have a full retractable roof which I just love, not just for the sunshine but handy for carrying long items, yes I've had a ladder sticking out of it and also great for watching fireworks displays or air displays from the comfort of your car.
It's a fun and a easy car to drive, surprisingly quick for a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder engine, I do alot of A road driving and I can easily keep up with the traffic, it does lack that extra punch for over taking and it can run out of steam going up very steep hills but it does it better than a lot of small cars i have driven.
I'm 6ft and find the car comfortable, I have a child seat behind me with a 7 year old in who hasn't moaned about space yet and there is no feet in my back etc. The boot is small because it's a small car, if you require a big boot then buy a bigger car. The first thing I did was remove the pointless parcel shelf/cover, this gives you more room. I have manged to get two large holdalls and two small kids cases in the boot with some carrier bags on top so fine for short breaks.
The outstanding thing about this car is the MPG, not quite the figures quoted by the manufacturer but still decent 50-60 mpg. So far the car has been 100% reliable and when I kerbed a wheel I was able to pick a replacement up cheaply. 100 of thousands of Aygos, C1 and 108s were sold so parts are so easy and cheap to get. Just look on the famous auction website, you can get just about any part cheaply.
So to summarise, great little car, get a Allure or Collection for all the extra kit, even consider a Top (you won't regret it). Avoid the 1.2 pure tech version (unreliable engine, Google it), shop around as loads available with low mileage.
To be balanced here are the negatives, there are only two seat belts in the back, central locking a bit loud/unrefined, middle rear light can let in water, apparently a common faul but I ve owned 4 of these now and only one (66 reg) had this issue. My 19 plate one has been fine and I've used the pressure washer on it with no water ingress.
It's a shame they no longer make this car, Toyota wanted the plant back to make the ugly Aygo X. If you can find a late low mileage 108 for a good price then I recommend you buy it.
