In their own words

My first 2008 was a 2015 model with the EGC semi-automatic gearbox. It was downright dangerous, verging on the undrivable. After 2 months of hell I managed to exchange it for a 2017 Allure petrol auto and it's a lovely car on the whole. Nice, stylish interior, well specified with auto wipers and headlights, a good alarm and a big boot/hatch big enough for 2 Labradors and very comfortable seats. I am only 5 feet 10 and have no issues at all seeing the dials over the wheel like some complain about, it's just a non-issue as you can easily raise the seat height. The cons have been that the indicators stopped making any noise which meant I sometimes forgot to cancel them but that was fixed under warranty, the 6-speed auto box is not very smooth taking off from stationary but on the move it's extremely good and the car is pretty quick. The all-weather tyres do spin accelerating off on a wet road though. The start/stop system saves me some grief in traffic jams but you have to turn most electrics off for it to work over a lengthy delay. I would also prefer to have internal roof grab-handles, there are none. The all-terrain system works very well - on snow at least, I can use Google Maps via Android Auto as I don't have a built-in sat-nav and I have a 16gb usb drive stuffed with thousands of MP3's permanently in the USB drive, giving masses of choice in music. The Dab radio works well too with no drop-outs I have grown to really like the looks of the dark grey car too, it's unusual and I think that's a positive. All in all I like it quite a bit, I'm pretty old and it's quite a lot of fun, dead easy to drive around town and very stable on fast roads. Not very economical though, only averaging 36 mpg, but that's usually for short 2-5 mile journeys
