Can pick moderately clean one up for around £500.

Quite a lot to go wrong on an old car...mostly little things but some can be suprisngly expensive!

Handles superb, watch out for lift off oversteer in corners!
Performance
Feels very quick in car, not great top speed (110) but lower down the through the gears is amazing!

Alternator went, drive shafts knock, battery died, stalled EVERY single time i came up to junction etc.

I love the look of these cars- RALLY STYLE, old classics and still respected today!

Proper rally car feel, although gears are very long throw and no power steering can be a bitch in traffic/parking etc.

No alarm/Immobiliser with car, & central locking can change its mind whether to work or not on a regular basis!

Can't fault, always started (with a bit of throttle) even after long periods!
