What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
As a first car it has a bigger engine than all of my friends, something I take great pride in!
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would be interested in possibly a three door with a bigger engine, but the 306s are becoming slightly dated now and there are other options available.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe a Mark 4 Golf with a larger engine to what I currently have.

Nice looking, good engine size for a first car

What's it like to drive?
Fun, acceleration is respectable, powerful but at speeds on the motorway can be very noisy

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Mostly the electrics, such as the LED clock and a couple of bulbs, but nothing mechanical so far. Can have condensation problems in the winter
What's most practical about your car?
The space in the front and in the boot - I'm 6"3 and it's not cramped at all
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Remote Central Locking - fairly rare for a small family car made in '99. Plus the 12 CD changer I fitted myself.
