1.9td is quick the xtdt was the quickest diesel with 3 more bhp than the d turbo and hdi turbo is good and sounds beefy
Other
Good car would recomend to buy, mine is tuned with a intercooler and now is even quiker. Can do 0-60 in 8.5 seconds which is quick for a diesel and as quick as the gti 6 gear, only cost £200 to buy and would recommend to any driver after that bit more.
