    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Very good value, though prices are holding up well.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Eats tyres. Buy one with a warranty to keep costs low.

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Excellent handling, a real go-cart around corners.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

OK, it won't overtake a Porsche, but it is very quick compared to most euro-shrapnel on the road.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

Designed with love, built without a damn. Sadly let down by typical French build quality.

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Turns heads in black or silver, but avoid garish colours, like Blaze Yellow, that attracts the boys in blue.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

All modern equipment fitted, so very comfortable.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

It has all the gadgets in the book, but I still use a stoplock as well.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Peugeot are hopeless. Dealers are too busy patching up shoddy cars from the factory to be bothered about repairing old ones. Don't expect a courtesy car either.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Cambelt went at 58k miles - fixed under warranty. Peugeot say 72k, but do it at 50k miles!

    Other

Front suspension coil spring broke in two, map sensor failed, plus general build related problems.
