Cheap to buy. Found mine was in a much better condition than Astras or Escorts of same value.
Costs
Average servicing and parts costs. Not much available in scrap yards though.

Comfortable ride and good dash layout, but uninspiring and noisy.

Nippy, but engine is course at high revs.

Mine had been broken into for stereo. Locks were weak and no immobilisor or alarm fitted as standard.

Not the easiest to work on - breather system can clogg up, check oil filler cap!

Spare wheel carrier rusts up so you can't undo bolt. Replace with one from scap yard.
