  • Economy

    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

Good value compared with the big guns: Audi, BMW and Volvo etc.

    Costs

Get it serviced in France if you can. Any work, for that matter. You'll still save money after paying the ferry and a boot full of Wine and Beer... UK dealers just stick their arm in every time.

  • On the road

    Driving

    2 out of 5 2.0

Very comfy on long drives and A-roads. Corners like a Tescos shopping trolley. If you want fun, you need to keep it in high rpm. Long doors are a killer in car parks.

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

Just as well I drive like an old man. Heavy body makes for sluggishness up through the gears, until after 4000rpms.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Very good. Engines-wise no complaints, other than the remote central locking and the AC unit making a clicking noise which I cured by pulling the fuse. You tend not to need it in Edinburgh anyway.

Sleek styling from Pininfarini, a major reason for buying it unfortunately. The car says honest, complicated, fun and responsible driver. A head turner compared with its competitors.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good comfort. 3.0 model I would opt for next time. Back window = poor view.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Though someone did tell me they had dodgy boots.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

As per earler comments, worth going to France every time you want your oil dipped...

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems
