  • Economy

    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

Best when purchased after 2-4 years old. Let someone else foot the bill for its huge initial depreciation.

    Costs

    2 out of 5 2.0

Fairly high insurance group (18). Running costs were never going to be cheap - not on a 3.0 V6 24v coupe.

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Considering its weight and bulk, actually quite sporting and frisky. Not in quite the leauges of hot hatches obviously, but not too bad really.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Handicapped by the smooth auto. More of a proper Grand Tourer than supercar. Still quick enough when stretched.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Not terrible, but not quite good enough Peugeot! Minor electrical problems spoil the show and seem to plauge my car from time to time.

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

Pure Itallian sleek coupe styling with French flair - I love it! Not too flash or ostentaious, but still turns heads. Ladies seem to agree.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Superb. Sumptuous heated leather. Very accomplished long distance cruiser, especially with the auto 'box. Of course, not much room for back seat drivers!

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Average. I suppose its not too disgraceful, but nowadays cars such as this should be fitted with tracking systems as standard.

    Service

    2 out of 5 2.0

I once booked the car in for a service and upon arriving no one knew anything about it! Dim dealers and a nonchalent attitude. Should try harder.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Minor, but annoying, electrical gremlings. Faulty dash warnings lights. Immobiliser problem once.

    Other

The odd trim clip working its way loose or breaking.

Did you buy the car new?

    Used

Would you buy the same model again?

    No

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
