  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

It suits me as I'm only in my late 20s and it has stylish 16" alloys, sporty wheel arches and, and black headlamp surrounds. It's a stylish looking car anyway and looks great in black.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Neighbours say the car looks great. Family and friends have travelled in it and say that it's spacious and no one has complained about the ride.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely. It does everything I want it to in s stylish package.

What are you likely to buy next?

    Renault Clio.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £11,000

When did you buy the car?

    July 2009

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes I did get a good deal. The exact model I chose was advertised as a finance deal on the Renault website.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I love Renaults and particularly Clios. I had owned one three Renaults before this, one of which was another Clio. I was waiting for the Clio III phase 2 (2009 facelift of the Clio III) to come out.

    What was the dealer like?

    Very friendly and professional.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

The car handles brilliantly. It picks up speed nicely, especially considering it is only an 1149cc and is the non-turbo version. It is superb around town and on the motorway.

    What's it like to park?

The car is a synch to park. It has nice big mirrors, is quite small, the windows provide great visibility and the steering is light.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing major at all. I had some creaking from the pedals and the tracking needed sorting, but both of these issues have been sorted by my Renault dealer.

What's most practical about your car?

It seems to have more interior space (both headroom and legroom, front and back) than the Megane I owned previously, even though it's a smaller car. It also has fully split folding seats, a practical boot with easy access and good access to the front and rear even though it's a three door.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Automatic lights, automatic wipers, and aux input for my ipod. All of this was standard!
