What does this car say about you?

A classy looking car - its got full leather trim too.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Some think I am flashy as I have this car as a pure fun car! (I live life to the full, as was nearly killed aged 27 - no one knows what's around the corner in life?)

Would you buy this car again and why?

Had a Scenic in the past (2003 rounded one) and no serious problems, but this car only 3rd car so depends on what I can afford.

What are you likely to buy next?

VW Eos 1.4, even Mitsubishi Colt CZC.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £3,495

When did you buy the car?

    March 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

Gave me £2000 for my 21year old Fiat X1/9 against this 4 seat convertible priced at £3495. (Private buyers of my X1/9 had offered me only £500 for it!)

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had a 2 seat classic (21 year old) but with 2 children needed a 4 seat. Thus swapped my Fiat X1/9 (£2000 part ex) for this. Wanted a convertible with an electric roof

    What was the dealer like?

    No complaints

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Very nippy but will return 40mpg tank to tank - Yes its a 2.0 16v!

    What's it like to park?

A bugger with the roof up, because the plastic back window is very opaque/only lets light through. Much easier with the top down!

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Did once stall the engine while putting up the hood, so it stuck half-way. But the manual told me how to re-set it.

What's most practical about your car?

Electric hood - its a real pose in a busy place!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Electric hood - feel this is necessary for future selling as all current tend to be coupe-convertibles.
