NEVER! Try changing a headlight bulb! Renault even advised me to have the car towed to a dealer if a headlamp fails (not Xenon, just a £2.99 bulb) as it's illegal to knowingly drive with defective lighting. Try reaching the oil filter, OUCH! And air filter, remove the battery first. NOT a car for anyone practical.
