What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
they like it, it is quite an unusual car. Mine is a 2006 in black (the only black F1 sold in the UK in 2006)
Would you buy this car again and why?
nope : not practical, too many things wrong with a £20k car, renault dealership : forget it!!!
What are you likely to buy next?
a 4X4!!! at least if it gets damaged i won't be too annoyed (oh yes, my car got damaged at work, in the car park..must have been a ghost!!!)

Did you get a good deal and why?
i managed to get £2.5k discount from dealership as it had been used occasionally as a "personal car" by the garage owner
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
it was that or a 4X4...should have followed my 1st idea nad stick to a 4X4!!!
What was the dealer like?
Too young, not really interested in me but more in selling the car, and i think (as i have discovered now) that i didn't get a loan as aksed for but a finance agreement (and yes i read the small prints)..i have learnt my lesson!!!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
i like it : crisp handling, fun acceleration (although less than the clio 192), firm suspension. I get 33 mpg combined and on my way to work (A-roads) i get 35mpg (note : without reving it and driving it like N.Mansell!!) Motorways or town it is really nice to drive.
What's it like to park?
public car parks : park as far away from anyone Reverse : be very careful because you must remember that the back of the car sticks out quite a lot!! I've never parked it adjacent to a curb because of fear or damaging the alloy wheels.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The dashboard wasn't properly fitted in (so a car had to go back). I had to change all 4 tyres as one of the front tyres developed a crack on its sidewall (apparently common knowledge) so from Dunlop i went to michelin (~£650) I've just been called to let me know there is a known fault with the air conditionning system, so car will have to go back!!
What's most practical about your car?
nothing : boot is small (1 average suitcase and 1 sport bag if that), although rear seats can be folded it is not really design to carry bulky loads, so as a result apart from me and my partner no-one has been in the car, especially at the back (mind you that way the passenger seats are prestine!!!)

2nd gear - 3rd gear boost and cruise control
