Fuel economy pretty good if driven gently. 40mpg at a guess on a run.

Good. More than happy. Impressive for size of engine.

Reliability
Lots of niggling faults. ECU and its many sensors can cause annoyance. Head gasket goes very easily if car over heats. Keep very close eye on cooling system. Would only recommend buying one with a perfect service history and is very tidy mechanically.
