Aftermarket CAT 1 alarm fitted. Rover alarm/immobiliser is also very good.

Service myself. Oil, plugs and filters every 6k miles. Dealers very helpful when sourcing parts.

Changed piston rings myself at 136k miles. Engine feels like new!
