    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very good value, discounted base model bought from new

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Cheap insurance, good economy (35mpg+). Alternator replaced twice - expensive to deal with!

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Light steering, great for town, sporty handling out of town

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

Above average performance from 84bhp 1.4 K-series, however, performance is compromised by an underwhelming gearbox. Reverse gear is hard to find.

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Had the alternator replaced twice, but other than that its been hassle free

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

Really nice looking car, despite the so called pipe and slippers image of a rover. The best car i've ever had, overall.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Comfortable seating, enough space everywhere despite some reviews saying seat space in the rear is limited. Ride above average. Spartan equipment - no electric windows/ central locking/ cd player, but power steering and airbag is standard

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good. Perimetric alarm and immobiliser on both models. No central locking though.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

Dealership was very helpful, great advice given
