Rover 25 1.4 iE (84ps) 3d (2000/W) Owner Review

Good whilst going forward. But you try to reverse it! I find that the headrest is in the way and the mirrors are too low to get a good view but i think thats because i am tall. Driving position could be better. Nippy though!

Boy recers try and beat me at the lights, they dont stand a chance! My car is only the 1.4 16v twin cam modle but it has as much accelaration as my uncles Celica. The car is fast but i feel it struggles on the motorway so go for a bigger engine.

The only thing i had go wrong was a flat tyre. Other than that it is fine.

The evil headlights give the car a aggresive look. Get one with alloys as trims do nothing for it what so ever. I think you have to be a certain type of person to appriciate it. Not a boy-racer

Ripped out the original rover seats after 2 days and fitted a MGZR half leather interior which is fantastic and holds you in place if you take a bend a little shaper than you should. (Not that i drive like an idiot :-) )

Security seems good. Never had a problem although the keyfob is a bit big and bulky. Alarm could be louder...

I had a mini cooper from the same rover dealership and it was in for repair every 5 minutes. They got oil on the leather steering wheen and would not sort it out. other than that ok.

quiet as a mouse. When driven harshly sounds very satisfying

I find the driving position quite annoying but it is because i am tall and all i can see is the top of the window. But other than that it is'nt too bad
