Rover 25 (1999 - 2005) 1.4 iS (103ps) 5d Owner Review

This car had 37 k miles when we bought it 4 years ago. We have averaged 8 k miles per year and other than thorough routine servicing and ensuring the correct coolant level, the only extra was a replacement radiator. Typical parts like front brake pads, battery and tyres have been replaced during the past four years as one would expecf. The 1.4 K series engine is still on its original head gasket and thanks to a few improvements it performs better now than it did when we bought it ! No problems at MOTs and it has never let us down in spite of being parked outside in all weathers.
