  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have used Rover cars since 1984 [ from Metros through Maestros through Rover 25 TDs ] and have only lost 5 DAYS in that period due to car problems. Now accidents - that's a different matter!

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Have never used agency garages. I have a garage that has serviced my cars since 1984 and it is both dependable and reliable.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

None with the basic engine unit. Current problem [ April 2005 ] may be MAF Sensor but after 75000miles I expect summat to need attention.

    Other

The main problem is marketing. Tell a car salesman you're looking for a Rover and they treat you like a lunatic. Why? If only the marketing team was as good as the production line then Rover wouldn't be in its current mess.

    Ownership

Did you buy the car new?

    Used

Would you buy the same model again?

    Yes

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?

    Yes
