Cheap used. Have yet to experience depreciation, but expect anything over two years to be a bonus.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

42mpg and cheaper to service than an overseas model. Parts available everywhere if you are willing / able to get your hands dirty yourself.

    Driving

Feels like it rolls worse than HMS invincible in a heavy swell! Good driving position in the cabin though - at least the driver has something to hold on to!

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

My other car is an MGF - they don't compare but then again, they aren't meant to! Brakes a bit of a worry.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Starts when you want, stops eventually - it's a shopping trolley.

Pass the pipe and slippers. If you're 'driving Miss Daisy' and don't mind looking through the steering wheel...

    Comfort

    2 out of 5 2.0

Overall it's good, although anyone in need of lumbar support might have to buy a Spanish Taxi drivers seat cover.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Bleeps and flashes when it needs to. Who would want to pinch one of these and drive it into Curry's though?

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

You have to get a good dealer or watch out...
