Rover 400 Saloon 1990-
  • Economy

    Value

    2 out of 5 2.0

I only paid £275 for it so it's not bad, but I don't think it will hold its value!

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Rover parts are expensive but worth it. They fit first time round.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Nippy engine, but brakes are snatchy. Comfortable ride if driven like a Grandad.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very fast for a 1.4! Dusts off the rude boys at the lights!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Starts every morning. Somtimes has a sticky choke, especially when cold or not been driven for a day or two!

    Image

    1 out of 5 1.0

I get stick from friends! (cos im only 20). It's definatly a pipe, slippers and cardigan job! I'd rather drive this than a Nova, though!

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

Very comfortable. Needs power steering though!

  • Security and Service

    Security

    2 out of 5 2.0

    3 out of 5 3.0

Although expensive, Rover did have the parts - in stock too!
