  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Paid £1500, almost no rust, 69k miles on the clock. This is my first car.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Thirstier on fuel than I expected, but I put the foot down so I'm not surprised!

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Handles like a Go-Kart and really is just a big glorified Go-Kart.

    Performance

    1 out of 5 1.0

Nippy. Good from standstill, good in town and not so good on the motorway.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    1 out of 5 1.0

Hasn't let me down yet, but I'm sure it'll happen. It is a Mini after all.

Other Mini drivers peep their horn or flash their lights at you. You're one of them with this car and the other people... well they always have a look at you, so it is the car to be driving.

    Comfort

    2 out of 5 2.0

It's a Mini. Want comfort, then get a car that has bouncy suspension and more cabin room. Only someone who loves the Mini can put up with the comfort levels, or even yet love them.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    2 out of 5 2.0

Locks are easy to get past. Standard Rover alarm/immobiliser not so great, but better than nothing.

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

My dad onws a Rover 75 with a Rover FSH, thus giving them a lot of business. I'd expect them to give him the proper treatment if he took my Mini in.
