    Value

Great value to buy, prices very affordable for a lot of car.

    Costs

My commute returns 34mpg over 300 miles a week. This can drop to mid-20s around town. Main dealer servicing and parts a touch expensive, but many specialists for parts and servicing exist. It's also one of the last cars that the DIY servicer can handle.

    Driving

Nice relaxed progress, positive brakes and steering. Capable of handling twisty back roads with ease.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Not a scorcher like an Aero, but certainly has plenty of power when needed.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Has covered 180,000 miles with no problems. One service a year and regular DIY oil changes are all it needs.

It hasn't got one, which is why it is perfect. It isn't for show-offs.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Leather interior with wonderful seats. Ride a little hard.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Alarm and immobiliser standard. Poor stereo did not deter thieves from breaking window for it though!

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

Very pleasant people, but they are expensive. Use Saab independents instead.
