Picked up this minter for £3800 from Saab Specialist, Autumn '03 - bargain!

DI Cassette failed - £235. Ouch! Otherwise, just wear & tear.

    Driving

Not great at cornering, but very pleasant and peaceful in the cabin.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Quite rapid - always gives BMW owners a nasty surprise. Plus ECU upgrades are available for this model at around £500 for a 50bhp boost!

    Reliability

Would have been 4 stars, but the DI cassette problem cost it a star.

Depends on your PoV. - My works' car-park has nearly a thousand car spaces - all Fords, Rovers and BM's - yawn. But there's hardly any "Real" Saabs!

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Of course I wish I had Aero seats, but hey, the "Ordinary" leather seats are still wonderful.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Never had a problem. Not top of the "Chav's" shopping list, unlike BMW 3 series. Yes, you've guessed it, I hate Beamers.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

I use APL Saab in Kirkham, Lancashire - a Saab Specialist, a much better option than a "Dick Turpin" Saab Dealer.
