    never gave that any thought.

    What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    they thought it was a nice car, until they knew how much it cost to maintain.

    Would you buy this car again and why?

    No. I got a SEAT as it was apparently cheap to insure and run. In reality it's cheap to insure, has shocking fuel economy around town and expensive to maintain. Has an appitite for front tyres, servicing costs more than a BMW's.

    What are you likely to buy next?

    honda civic or something similar that holds it's value well and doesn't go wrong all the time.

    At the time I paid a small premium as there were very few of the 130bhp models around

    Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    frugal, cheap to insure and reasonably quick

    What was the dealer like?

    A used car salesman - very pushy and sold it to me with illegal front tyre tread and the service light came on the very next day!! All was sorted after a lot of hassle maindealers are expensive for servicing and parts

    What's it like to drive?

    very nippy. It'll catch a lot of much more powerful cars out. It's brilliant on long journies - simply chomps the miles away and has plenty of pull, even at over 100mph.

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    Temperature sender faulty twice causes irregular idling. Engine mounts need replacement.heavy doors bend hinges!Headlamps fill with condensation. Suspension bushes have gone. Drivers seat release literally fell apart. Intercooler pipe broke twice. Steering warning comes on when very cold.Plastics mark easily inside. Seats mark very easily, even with water they stain. Dashboard rattles

    What's most practical about your car?

    small so very easy to park However, why would a car maker not put a light in the boot?!? I can only assume it doesn't get dark in Spain...

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    TURBO!!!!!!!!!! And the LED light on my keyring, so I can see in the boot in the dark.
