I committed to leasing this car through Octopus salary sacrifice, but now I'm cancelling because I can't get a test drive.
Octopus recommended contacting their fleet people, which I did - no Elroqs available.
I contacted a dealer and said I was looking for contract hire (which I thought would be safe, just in case they wouldn't give me a test drive for being out-of-network) - they offered me 5 minutes (quote).
I complained to Skoda who asked other dealers in the area. They said no. And now they have my name, so my chances of pretending I'm a cash buyer are burned.
Ultimately Skoda were unable to give me a test drive, when I was ready to commit to a four-year deal. So I will never be a Skoda customer.
