The 2.0 litre diesel version has plenty of pull. I regularly tow a caravan with it without any problem. It even tows up hill happily. There is plenty of leg room both in the front and in the back seats, and an amazing amount of space (including some useful hidden compartments. It is well built (to VW standards). and I really can not find fault with it. A pleasure to drive in all conditions.
