Skoda Octavia vRS 1.4 TSI iV vRS 5dr DSG Owner Review

I decided to write this review in response to the one and only fairy negative review on here, I not the contributor came to the Octavia after owning a BMW 330, the VRS IV is a completely different experience altogether . For myself it's an ideal day to day car, ( I also have a V8 Vantage when I need some thrill's) in my day day 25-40 mile journeys, which are mostly completed on electric alone I find it quick enough if not rapid at times, costs me pennies to run when charged up at home, is well equipped grips well, ( I grew out of wheelspinning about 30 years ago)
I had a lexus NX before the Skoda and used to fill up with fuel four times a month, I now only fill up once !
The only negative so far is the £625 road fund charge due to 40k list price, but to sum up the car is deceptively quick ,(245BHP and 400NM Torque) spacious , comfortable, nice looking ,( compared to SUV's) and incredibly frugal for my lifestyle.( 96 Mpg ave 70p overnight charge)
I Normally change my car's regularly, ( this is number 36 over the last 40 years) but I really rate this one , I also owned the Superb IV for a short time which was well, Superb!
The onlycar that I would consider to replace the Octavia would be the new Toyota Prius, (I'm not yet ready to commit to full electric yet) so I'll happily stick with my VRS IV for now.
