Value
You pay a premium new for the name and unseen safety features, but second hand they are very good value.
Costs
So far accessories and first service have been well made but more expensive.

Three pot motor is not quiet, but does make a lovely sound.

Very nippy for a 1.1.

Onboard compute lets you know when it need looking at. Merc dealers can be snooty though

Doh! One of teh best images around. This is a stylish and different car and a good match for the ForTwo
Comfort
Seat has a habit of sinking as adjuster get knocked, could do with reach adjustment on steering wheel.

Standard alarm, central locking and immobiliser. Mercedes Radio unique fit. Boot didn't come with cover, not standard until a month or so ago.
Service
Main dealers variable, go to a specialist if your local is poor. Check forum on smart owners club for clues
