I paid £8000 new and it's a properly engineered 4x4 rather than a car that's been raised off the ground and jazzed up with big bumpers etc.
Costs
Cheap spares, but dealer servicing is expensive. Economical on fuel

Good for a 4x4 but poor compared to small cars

Reasonably fast, smooth gearbox.

50,000 miles including some mud-plugging without a single fault.

Low key and modest for a 4x4, good or bad I guess depending on your point of view.
Comfort
Good driving position, comfortable seats, small rear seats, but plenty of elbow room. More interior space than one would guess from the outside.
