What does this car say about you?

Well, being a young professional, i'm not exactly the sterotypical owner of one of these vehicles. But I've always liked small cars that are a little different to the normal Fiesta or Corsa types. You don't see many of these on the road which makes them stand out a little more, not to mention the great range of colours they come in. Mine's Sunlight Copper. I've always loved orange cars, so this suits my personality down to the ground.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They seem to like it. They know it suits me so they're just happy i'm happy!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. I've had 19 cars in 10 years of driving and the Suzuki Splash is certianly up there in my top 3 favourite cars i've had. Despite a few little niggles like the dogey paint work, clunky gear change and lack of interior options, I do really love this little car and would most certainly buy another one if a newer model came out (which I beleive it is soon). It's great value for money and the dealership were really plesant to deal with, which is unusual for car salesmen!

What are you likely to buy next?

Who knows? I see new cars I want all the time. I do like the Nissan Duke.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, I swapped my 11 plate Fiat 500 for a brand new Splash.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Something a little more spacious than my Fiat 500.

    What was the dealer like?

Very good. Offered me a great deal and did not pressurise me in any way. I did have to leave a £500 deposit which was supposed to be refunded when I went to collect my new Splash, but it took over 3 weeks for the refund. Only a minor problem though.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, I used a jet washer on it and the paint flaked off my bumper. Suzuki have arranged for the paint work to be redone under the warranty though, despite it saying in the book not to jet wash it!! Why wouldn't you be able to jet wash a new car though?!! Cheap paint...

What's most practical about your car?

    Flat folding rear seats.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Keyless entry & ignition.
