  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

You get a hell of a lot of car for your money.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Cheap insurance depreciates slower than a VW Polo. Fuel economy slightly worse than some of its rivals, but still good.

  • On the road

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Light as a feather, but quick responses result in a bit of engine noise, though little more than any other car. Smooth firm ride refuses to roll or give at all on corners.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Drive the 1.3 3dr and at 91 bhp. If you search its competitors (£7500 and less), none come within 20 bhp for the price; the performance is blistering.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Not had even the slightest glimmer of a problem and from what ive heard they have a perfect record

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

Looks good especially when placed next to the competition

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

At 6'8", finding a car that fits is annoying at least. In the swift I was confused why there was so much space that I didn't quite know where to put my knees because unlike other cars, my knees were not pinned down.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Possibly quite good, fortunately I haven't had to test these features yet.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Suzuki service is very good
