What does this car say about you?

It says I have good taste and I like a 4x4 looking car without wanting the huge fuel consumption.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love love love it! Family spend most of thier visits being driven about in it which is great for all as I love to drive it, just for a good drive not just for errands! I get asked about it in public all the time, have been stopped by strangers many times.

Would you buy this car again and why?

In a word, yes. Only problem is I have to get a wheelchair for my son soon and won't be able to fit it in this boot so will have to part with it :( :( very sad!

What are you likely to buy next?

?? Haven't got over the impending loss of my gorgeous SX4 yet!!

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fab! I chose the car because it was the second best thing to a ford focus and mondeo I'd driven as loan cars the year before, in terms of drive quality. Have had the same reaction from a few frinds I've let in the drivers seat also. It's just great! Corners very well, reacts well and has the right amount of feedback. Can't say enough about how good it is to drive!

    What's it like to park?

I find it very easy. It has huge mirrors (a serious bonus), so you can get a very very good view of the road and the curb!

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

A few minor things but think that's because it was a demonstrator and clearly had been put through it's paces. Nothing major yet and has just flown through it's first MOT.

What's most practical about your car?

The boot fits my son's special needs pushchair, fuel economy is good for a car of this size, can fit lots of luggage in it. With the rear seats folded down I get mine and my eldest son't bikes in the back! Took the car to a festival at Larmer tree this summer and it got us through 6" of mud. It completely caked the car with it but we were the only non 4x4 to get through! I did feel very sad for the others we passed with their spinning wheels (the smile on my face didn't help make them feel any better though!) Despite the reviews of not having good ground clearance for off road use, I have to disagree with it, this is brilliant in every way!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

driver controls all electric windows and door locks and can shut them off for the passengers. Ideal for a mum of a severly autistic child who likes to open windows on the motorway!
