In their own words

Bought the sz5 on the vat free offer after 25 years with Peugeot. Every article in the research of this model was positive and approximately £8000 cheaper than the Peugeot 2008 and the plus of 4wd. The car is nice to drive, handles well, is comfortable, the auto box is seamless and the sport button really makes a difference. Most reviews say the interior is a little "low rent", and this is true, but doesn't appear to be fragile. The sat nav radio and phone connection works well although I cannot connect my Samsung phone to the infotainment screen but that maybe me and don't find it important. The controls are well placed and easy to use although the warning bleeps for the proximity sensors and various other warnings can be at bit irritating. A reversing camera is a useful addition but how did we manage without them? As an older driver I wouldn't buy a car that couldn't carry a spare wheel, although not standard a space saver spare wheel and jack can be purchased and stored in a well in the boot. Fuel consumption is not what I was expecting 31 mpg but low mileage and stop start use under current circumstances may be the problem, we will see. Overall I find the Vitara an attractive car, mine is red with a black roof, the local dealer is excellent and so far very pleased with my purchase.
