What does this car say about you?

I don't think it says much to be honest.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like it, it's got decent space inside and the ride is fairly comfortable.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No I only purchased this as I needed a relatively spacious car, that was cheap to buy and insure for a newly qualified driver. It's a great car but not one I'd buy again.

What are you likely to buy next?

I have a baby on the way so something family friendly, that has sporty credentials. I don't want a crossover or boring estate.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £650

When did you buy the car?

    March 2016

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car only had two previous owners from the same family since new and had not only a full service history, but a huge pile of paperwork backing this up, MOT's and receipts.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Just passed my driving test (Automatic only) and needed something that was cheap to purchase, cheap to insure, reliable and easy to drive.

    What was the dealer like?

Bought second hand from an exceptionally friendly family, who let myself and a friend check the car over, then invited us into the home to see all the paperwork and complete the deal. I was also offered not only a cup of tea but use of a laptop after the sale to complete purchasing of road tax and insurance.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

For an automatic with a 1.3 engine it is fairly nippy and the steering feels responsive; it adds up to making it somewhat fun to drive. It also handles fairly well on the motorway. Only negative is the ride can become quite jiggly and crashy over rough surfaces and bumps.

    What's it like to park?

It's nice and tall with lots of glass so visibility is excellent and combined with the steering which only requires two turns lock to lock it makes it so easy. There is also electrically adjustable wing mirrors which help out to if necessary.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

I've heard squeaking from the rear left wheel, I suspect potential suspension issue. The roads are pretty bad where I live so I blame the potholes for this. The drivers side window also does not seem to work.

What's most practical about your car?

Considering the small proportions on the outside, the inside is very spacious, with excellent head and knee room. The boot is a decent size and the seats split 60//40.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

There's not much in terms of gadgets it's fairly basic. The stereo has two speakers with the option to add another two in the rear ceiling space (wires installed ready to hook up).
