In their own words

The car has massively exceeded expectations. It's enjoyable and genuinely relaxing to drive, smooth, quiet and comfortable. I have several times sustained 70mpg (indicated) over a full tank; yet when needed the performance is great: overtaking on single-carriageway A-roads is easy and safe thanks to CVT (no downshifting!) and electric assistance. Even on motorways it will do over 60mpg at sensible speeds - it only drops off above the legal limit. Icon Plus has copious nice things like effective Bluetooth, DAB radio, satnav, cruise control, electric folding mirrors (so useful with a narrow garage). The touchscreen interface is a little fiddly perhaps, but usable enough and most important controls have 'proper' buttons. I couldnt really imagine going back to a conventional car now, even if most of them weren't much more polluting too. As others have said, the car is amazingly quiet in electric or petrol modes - the ICE is only audible when working hard, and even on "full thrash" is no different from a conventional petrol car using low gear as it would need to be. The rear window is small (aerodynamics??) but the reversing camera mitigates it. Oh, and how much more stylish does it look than some joyless VW box?
