Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Yes. My second Avensis. They can't be that bad, surely. Everyone here gripes endlessly about theirs but I guess I bought the good one. :) Bought from new and now about 24k miles we've had nothing go wrong except one puncture, it took 20k miles to wear out the front tyres, something I thought was poor wear and tear. The 'Design' trim is fine but unremarkable. The car has everything you need and want except for real leather seats and louder stereo. Ours is in the metallic red which when cleaned and seen on a sunny day is lovely. My only complaint about the car is that the electrically adjustable front seats are higher than the manually sliding seats, meaning that I am always catching my hair on the roof lining, something that didn't happen on the previous Avensis. At 6'1" tall I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be happening. Flappy paddle gear levers. Why? I bought an automatic and have used the flappy paddles once to see what they do. Just get rid of them please Toyota, they're a waste of time. Remarkably my wife loves this car, much preferring it to her BMW 2 series cabriolet. She likes it's solidity and satnav, seat position and the push button handbrake. As the last 3 years has sped past I'm about to change it for one of the new Camry Excel models that has just replaced the Avensis. Please wish me luck as it'll be my first hybrid...
