What does this car say about you?

your fun, your fast and you like to have a good time and you have some style without following the crowd. you own the roads

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

they love it, all ask what il do to it next! lots of attention so if you dont like attention dont get one!

Would you buy this car again and why?

yes, take me back 4 years and id buy it again without thinking, the car is amazing in everyway and you can see why it cost circa £30,000 in 1994, it realy is way ahead of its time in everyway shape and form, from the superstut suspention to the torsen diff to the pure pace and smoothness of the engine that evos and imprezas of the same year just dont come close to, if you want a rally car, this "is" the car to buy. dont be fooled by the crowd saying " its only a Toyota"

What are you likely to buy next?

none, this car is the car i want, i have driven many cars over the last 4 years, a ferarri 360, 355, a supra tt, skyline gts-t and gtr and many others, and the only car i would buy would be a dodge viper srt-10... even then i wouldnt rid of the gt4, id only get one if i won the lottery and could have both, the gt4 is my car!

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

phenominal, ive driven ferarri 355 and 360's, a supra twin turbo, and my cousins audi rs6, and as a drivers car the gt4 is as good as the ferarris and better by an era than the supra. awesome pace for the year, 0-60mph is acheived as standard in circa 5.5-5.7 seconds(dependant on bhp and torque, toyota seemed incabable of making the same bhp from all engines) top end in the region of 155-160mph with the wrc wing and with small wing more closer to 170mph... not bad for a 2l.. try doing 170 in your evo.. wont happen. ;) the gt4 realy is "the" b road stunner though, to take advantage of the camber control suspension and 50/50 split 4wd torsen diffs if needs to be on back roads, it eats the bends for breakfast and is in a world of its own,all i can say is ive driven it on the nurburgring

    What's it like to park?

easy...ish, the fact the car is very wide doesnt help.. i mean very, i.e the car is pretty much the whole width of your average supermarket space so be sure to take up 2 spaces if you dont want car park dints!!! for sports car though, turning circle isnt too bad

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

yes, as all cars do, at the age of 14years old the fig8's have been replaced and the straight arms have been replaced, an easy job to do and one that many people say costs a fortune, around £55 for a fig8 and £205 for a straight arm, give 2 hours per side to fit, they are easily done by any competent mechanic or car enthusiast. shocks and diff mounts and engine mounts still solid even after 14 years and multiple trackdays at donington park and the Nurburgring in germany, it is still going strong with no signs of giving up.

What's most practical about your car?

the space in the front, im 6'3" tall and i have acres of space in the front seats, lots of leg room and head room with space to move around, geat stick and arm rest are well positioned, all dials and controls aimed toward driver providing good driving position

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

the engin, great pace, smoothness and torquey, as for favorite gadgets, they are the ones ive added, a electronic boost controller adds a massive smile to any driver in these cars.
