What does this car say about you?

I suppose it says I like to treat and look after myself .. without being the over the top flash git, slick pulled back hair with sunglasses on all the time, trying to look "cool". I want something powerful, looks good and can reach good speeds quickly without having to pay a fortune for it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Friends: they were incredible surprised how good the actual car is. They didn't think it was as cheap as it was, nor did they think the comfort and power would be as great as it is. I already have two friends who are in the process of buying one, HOORAY! Family: They also like it, the looks, costs, comfort they are all there and tick the boxes. My dad was looking at these about a year ago and want one himself, but couldn't be bothered with the hassle of selling his Mondeo first. Oh well, that's his loss. Even my nan thought it was brilliant.. all though, she was abit scared and did struggle when getting out the car! Neighbours: I don't really have neighbours, BUT i have had compliments from general public young and old, from "nice car" to "how did you afford that?".

Would you buy this car again and why?

With it's great reliability and performance I don't think I'll ever need to buy this car again. But if the worst was to happen and have it written off .. then most definitely! I wouldn't give it a second thought.

What are you likely to buy next?

To be honest, at this stage there isn't any thought of when i want to buy another car.

    September 2011

Did you get a good deal and why?

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

I think it is brilliant! If you want to drive at a fairly consistent pace then you can, but if you want a sudden burst of speed it's even better. It has great comfort and the steering incredibly good ... an all round great driving experience.

    What's it like to park?

I think it is easy, but with any car it's all about how YOU park. I've seen people struggle to keep in the lines with a smart car, so they would have no chance in a car like this. However if you all ready drive a standard car of it's size then you will have no problems at all.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The only thing that sort of bugs me is when filling up at the petrol station, the pump nozzles cut out as if it's trying to say the tank is full, when you could have it on empty and had only put a few pence in. So you have to move the pump about to find the right angle and distance to make it a continuous flow. But once you find it, it's fine, but can get annoying when you have several cars queuing up behind you.

What's most practical about your car?

Pretty much everything about it. Great leg room, fairly low ride with great comfort and it's good on fuel.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

As it's a 2001 model there isn't really any special gadgets that wouldn't come in most modern day cars. Back in the day it may of came across being spectacular having electric windows, sunroofs, air conditioning, climate control, but they are all associated with practically any car these days. But they are all gadgets you wouldn't not want in the car. So I suppose that the Electric Windows, Sunroof and Air Conditioning, Climate Control, Adjustable Speedometer Display Brightness, and you can also adjust the steering wheel position! They are all my favorites.
