• Summary

What does this car say about you?

I think the car shows that you have style and enjoy a bit of fun. You often get other Celica drivers smiling or waving in acknowledgement of having the same car which is nice.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

From a styling point of view everybody seems to like this car. Passengers have commented on the lack of space in the rear however the seats are only really for convenience, its really a 2-seater. I wouldn't really recommend a Coupe if you regularly need to seat more that 2.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definately. Such a fun car to drive. A real drivers car.

What are you likely to buy next?

Not planning on getting a new car anytime soon but will definately take a look at the next Celica when the time comes.

Pushed hard with the dealer and managed to get £1500 off the advertised price aswell as £500 more than required to part exchange my old car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Fantastic styling coupled with the unrivaled reliability of a Toyota.

Very pleasant and enjoyed a good haggle.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fantastic! The ride can be a bit bumpy on uneven roads but that is to be expected with a sports coupe. Plenty of pulling power regardless of what gear you are in and great handling. This car puts a smile on my face whenever I get into it.

    What's it like to park?

No problems at all. As long as you know how long and wide the car is and the mirrors are set correctly parking is a breeze.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not at all, had three Toyotas in the past and the only problem I had was a brake light out (Which Toyota changed for free).

What's most practical about your car?

A surprising amount of space in the front and the huge boot. There's also plenty of pulling power so overtaking is a breeze.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Celica had a surprising number of small touches which are really nice, eg being able to change how intermittent the intermittent wipers are and a dimmer control for the dash lights.
