Next generation if it ever comes along.

    October 2008

12 month Toyota warranty and 3 years free servicing.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I owned a Mark 3, two door coupe ST in the late eighties and regretted the day I sold it. I vowed I would have another one when I could afford it.

    What was the dealer like?

Excellent. They got me exactly the model and colour I wanted for the best price. Have used them before for my Wifes car and never felt pressured.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fantastic. Long journeys are eaten up, around town suspension is a bit hard. Seats can be a bit uncomfortable after a while. Lumber support would have been good.

    What's it like to park?

Quite poor. It would have been better to have a reversing sensor rather than just a beeper to tell you its in reverse.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

After 4 months rear brakes sounded like a London bus. Apparently the pads had gone hard, so the dealer replaced them free of charge.

What's most practical about your car?

Boot space. It is sorely needed for the long jouneys to carry all the kids stuff to Grandmas.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The stereo is great. Rock, classic, pop when turned up its the business.
