Toyota Celica Hatchback 1985-
  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Paid just over £1000 and got myself a sports car

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Eats tyres and drinks petrol like anything, but then again, it is a 2.0 sports coupe, and I wouldn't have bought it if I was bothered too much about fuel economy

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

    Excellent handling, smooth, enjoyable drive

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Slightly disappointing 0-60, but decent level of performance, sounds great, redlines at 9000rpm, and pretty powerful

If looked after and serviced, this car will never let you down

13 years old, but still looks great. Best looking Celica they ever made. Very curvaceous, love the pop-up lights, looks sporty and aggressive.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Nice seats and internal layout. However, interior slighty plasticky, but all electrics. Good rear seat legroom for a sports coupe, and excellent-sized boot, so practical too

  • Security and Service

    Security

    2 out of 5 2.0

    Need aftermarket alarm/immob

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

Avoid Toyota garages, will rip you off. Plenty of good independents.
