Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Very good, but the omission of many convenience features, rubbish infotainment, 10k mile pit stops, pathetic beep horn and badly designed oddment cabin storage prevent the car from being the best in class. Powertrain, 100k mile warranty and the awful reliability/Seat UK customer service of my Seat Leon made me buy it. Very happy but not over the moon yet.

How reliable do you find the car?

Everything works fine over the last 7,000 miles. No major or minor breakdowns whatsoever.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Car replaced a 2017 estate Seat Leon ST 2.0 TDI (184) DSG FR.

10year/100k mile warranty.
Powertrain is simply fantastic. Quiet, efficient, nippy, very refined in stop start traffic, quiet on the motorway, 48-59mpg on motorway, 48-80mpg in town.
Very roomy, boot space is very good at 581 litres.
Ride/handling is well-judged, compliant.
Steering is nicely sorted. Power window mechanism is very quiet, build quality is superb.
Battery gives between 150-180 miles per tankful, touring range is between 520-560 miles.
Excellent HVAC system, with buttons.
Adaptive cruise control and steering is very good, park assist is nice to have, main beam auto function is very useful, boot operation is electric and works faultlessly.
android auto/apple carplay is obligatory.
Cupholders are very well though out.
Reverse camera is very good.
Seats are very comfortable and heated.
Boot light is very bright and plentiful, unlike any other car I ever had.

Expensive to insure, only 10k miles between pit stops.
No room for oddments; I fitted aftermarket net pockets, sunglasses holder, armrest tray.
Beep horn is pathetic, passable in town, unsuitable on the motorway, very dangerous.
No spare wheel in the boot.
Brakes are average in feel and stopping ability.
No flood lights in footwell.
Buttons on headliner are not illuminated.
Interior light bulbs are halogen!
Infotainment and sound quality totally inadequate, android auto/apple carplay a must-have.
Only one USB port to connect to Android auto. No wireless Android Auto or phone charging.
Refuel warning light is pathetic, it comes on when there are 2.5 gallons left in the tiny fuel tank, very irritating.
Too many annoying beeps.
Key-fob operated drop down/raise window function was not activated by the factory, Carista to the rescue on this one.
Lights will not turn on when you unlock the vehicle in the dark.
Front foglights won't illuminate when you turn left or right at night.
Lights won't switch on if it is raining heavily, no option to activate that. No autolock function above 12mph, not available in UK cars, total nonsense.
