Traditional old school sports car. Well balanced with sufficient power for road use complimented with exemplary handling well above its class. Easy to drive every day but once past 4000RPM it all happens very quickly: you need to stay on top of it though before the available revs run out! My Auto DSG box (thoroughly reccomend) is superb. The 200m/s changes are silky smooth with auto blip on the down changes - really racy. Critics don't know what they're missing. Some might find the low down torque frustrating but you'd need to a public road hooligan in my opinion for it to be an every day issue. It is a very light 2.0 litre car after all and ease of use makes the daily commute stress free and easy. Using the DSG manually easily gave me a 7.4s 0-60 which although not super fast I believe is comparable to a Golf GTI. However, I think it would take a focused car costing significantly more to stay with this pint sized supercar on the twisties: it's simply incredible!
