  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

It has a decent amount of equipment, but for this price I would have expected a CD player as standard.

    Costs

    5 out of 5 5.0

Only trip to garage has been for standard first year service which was fine.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Excellent ride and handling from such a large vehicle which is at home on country roads as well as motorways. All around vision is brilliant with large wing mirrors makes it easy to drive and park. Seats are comfortable with armrests on the front seats.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

This is not a performance car but nor is it underpowered. In normal driving conditions, it performs well. Sometimes the autobox doesn't kick down as quickly as you may wish, but overtaking is not usually a problem. More power could make it better.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

This is the most reliable car I have ever had (besides the other two Toyota's I have had in the past).

    Image

    4 out of 5 4.0

Toyota Previas have an excellent image in comparison to its competitors, especially for reliability, though it doesn't come high in the excitement rankings. As such, it must be the perfect MPV.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Plenty of room for all eight occupants (and their luggage). Seats are firm but comfortable. Climate control works well.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Comes with immobiliser and deadlocks on doors.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Top class.
