    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

Supercar beating performance for 35K new? Do the math.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

Service a bit expensive, but again, compare with other cars with this kind of performance, and it starts looking like a good deal.

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

Unbelievable fun. Behaves itself in a competent driver's hands, and for those able to really handle a car, will reward with massive power slides, devastating accelaration and track feel to the ride.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Fast, fast, fast, fast. Contrary to common belief, handles very well indeed. Just be gentle feeding in power out of corners - there's no safety gimmicks to keep you out of trees!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Better than I expected, but go in with eyes open. TVR sell you an engine - the rest if a freebie.

Becoming a bit too popular with recession hit city boys, trading in the porker. Still a beautiful car though.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Long time in car (three hours +) gives me a bit of backache, but would change seats if had to travel that much in it often.

    Service

Go to a good dealer that is heavily into the race scene (Tuscans/GT). They treat you like a member of their family, and the back up is excellent.
