What does this car say about you?

Sensible. not completely boring.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think its a great practical car, not bad looking. and they think the 1.7L engine will be thirsty (its not i average 60mpg).

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, I love driving it, very practical, comfortable, economical, and pretty fun to drive on the right roads.

2.0 CDTI astra mk5.

Did you get a good deal and why?

It was ok, came with a 6 month warranty. and was in the sort after colour Black.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed a car with great fuel economy, Low Tax, lots of space and low insurence for a first time driver.

What was the dealer like?

Very nice, helpful.

What's it like to drive?

Fantastic, handles great on the cornish rural roads, without loosing its comfort which is great, havnt been in a car that has matched the smoothness of the ride. very quiet inside even on motorways. gear ratios well spaced out although I do think it would of benefited from a 6th gear when at 70mph 2700rpm.

What's it like to park?

Really easy despite its size. helped by its tight turn circle.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Cam shaft sensor failed on it and the car would not start until the engine had cooled down. original battery had to be replaced and original front shocks. replaced front and rear engine mounts and original back box on the exhaust.

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is truly huge. lots of space for the dog, luggage or shopping.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Air con and buttons on the steering wheel.
