What does this car say about you?

Well, mine is basic and is very 'anti-chav', so I would just say....normal.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

It's my little blue Corsa... it makes me and other people happy. It was my window of freedom and it is very highly loved for that alone. it is basic, but it is fun.

Would you buy this car again and why?

If I had to, yes. It may be a lump of scrap to some, but it is a lot of car to me.

What are you likely to buy next?

I have a Colt 1.3 CZ2 as well, so the Turbo charged version of that. It is fast and my favourite looking car of all.

    April 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yeah, it was cheap to begin with £450 but I knocked the guy down to £350. It needed a little bit of work but was an otherwise great, honest little car.

Cheap and I fell in love with it.

    Welsh. I think..

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

It's a Corsa. It handles well, though on cheap tyres understeers like a fat chick on rollerskates. It needs Pirelli tyres (soft compound that works better on a lighter car) to make this a thing of the past. It only has about 54bhp so a lot of gear changes are needed, but keep the valves dancing on the bonnet top and it will be aces!

    What's it like to park?

Mine has no PAS, but is still okay. Visibility is good and it has bumpers if you go a little too far. The front is short and the back end drops off just after the rear window, so perception of size is great.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Replaced four tyres (not essential, but I want to know it will stop and handle properly) and I fitted a new clutch too.

What's most practical about your car?

It's cheap, can seat four adults in fair comfort and has a huge boot.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It has see-through windows, a wheel that turns it and stop/go pedals. And door handles are standard. ...it's a little bit basic to say the least.
