thought it was alright, very fuel efficient
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, wouldn't touch another vectra for as long as live. No doubt people will swear by theirs but I wasn't impressed. Especially the engine light problem. Supposedly common fault for the CDTi engine from 99 regs all the way up to 04 regs. Which tells you a lot about vauxhall design.

Anything thats not a vauxhall.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
clunky, wobbley, heavy and tiresome, comfortble seats, weird handling and happy back end. Good for motorway cruising, has a not bad acceleration in higher gears.
What's it like to park?
pretty easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
yes, engine light problem. Common occurance with this engine, usual faults are EGR valves, crank sensors or if you are unlucky like me its the injector pumps (very costly)
What's most practical about your car?
very fuel efficient

My favourite option for this car is.... the option to get rid of it.
