    No, I would never buy another VW. Their ability to resolve issues and their reaction to the issues I have had has been appaling.

    Deal was reasonable if the car had been reliable.

    What was the dealer like?

    Keen to please at the point of selling the vehicle, although made mistakes in the quote process and tried to recover these by reducing the spec of the vehicle.

    What's it like to drive?

    No real problems when it does not stop and refuse to start.

    What's it like to park?

    Fitted with parking system, but rarely used. Parking reasonably trouble free.

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    - Water trapping in the door well, spilling out onto your shoes when the door was opened - Numerous roof issues; rattles, failures to open correctly, squeaking sunroof - “Key not found” issues. The vehicle intermittently does not recognise the key and will not start. - Clutch squeal after 15K miles. - Vehicle unexpectedly stopping whilst driving and refusing to start for over 10 minutes - Revolving noise evident from rear of vehicle when driving - Lights intermittently not working.

    4 seat convertible.

    The roof is a marvel of engineering when it works properly, which is not often.
